South Swell, but Strong Winds Along The Coast - NorCal

Northwesterly winds continue through Monday. Winds fresh to strong, with gale-force gusts possible over the far northern waters through at least late tonight. Winds ease to become light and more southerly starting Tuesday ahead of an approaching trough. Northwest swell builds through Monday as gusty conditions continue but looks to diminish by the middle of next week. Light southerly swell continues to move through the waters this weekend and through the upcoming work week.

MON
NW winds 15 to 20 knots with gusts up to 25 knots. Wind waves 4 to 5 ft. NW swell 5 to 7 ft at 12 seconds and S around 2 ft at 16 seconds.

MON NIGHT
S winds around 10 knots. Wind waves 1 ft. NW swell 6 to 7 ft at 12 seconds and S around 2 ft at 16 seconds.

TUE
SE winds around 10 knots. Wind waves 2 to 3 ft. NW swell 5 to 6 ft at 11 seconds and S around 2 ft at 15 seconds.

TUE NIGHT
NE winds 10 to 15 knots. Wind waves 3 to 4 ft. NW swell 4 to 5 ft at 10 seconds and S around 2 ft at 16 seconds.

WED
NW winds 10 to 20 knots with gusts up to 30 knots. Wind waves 4 to 6 ft. Mixed swell NW 2 to 3 ft and S around 2 ft.
